    The Power of a D800

This below will answer that question depending on the size of the final print and the dpi at which it was printed (ie: the standard used for that kind of medium). It looks like the D800 maxes out just shy of a bus shelter print (albeit at 115 dpi) of 46x67" so around 4x5.5 feet in size...

Nikon D4 with 85mm 1.4G: Sunday Portraits in Boston Garden

Wandered around the park today...crowded today because it was 73.4 F (23C) for the high today. I wasn't sure which topic to put this under but I guess most of the photos have people in them so I thought the portrait section would do fine. :)

Lowepro Toploader Pro 70 AW.....needed something smaller than the Flipside 300, and smaller than the Nova 160 AW, but larger than the Toploader Zoom 45 AW (yes I have all those) to tote around the D4 or D800 w. grip with lens. I love Lowepro bags! :D

Studio Shooting with Nikon D4 , 85mm 1.4G and a two strobe setup with 7' umbrella

Was in the studio on Sunday to shoot a couple of models, one more boudoir and the other more catalog fashion style. These were with the Nikon D4, 85mm 1.4G or 50mm 1.4G, and two Calumet strobes, one with a 4' umbrella and the other with a 7' umbrella, so a two light setup. First the catalog...

    D4 Owners: Autofocus Settings?

So I know all about the different autofocus settings on the D4. But I have a problem with back-focus when in Auto mode. If in single point mode its better but not always perfect, and I'm finding I have to do a focus compensation of about -8 to get it tack sharp, and it isn't consistent. I did...
