    Ironwood's Pen Progression

Had a bit of a play with a piece of glass sitting on top of my background paper. I didn't really get the effect I was hoping to get, (I was hoping for a better reflection) but will try a few different things next time. Feedback on the photos and composition welcome.

    Ironwood's Pen Progression

I have been putting extra diffuser material (packing foam) inside my lightbox to try and soften the light more,it has the bonus of cutting down on the unwanted reflections as well. The foam works well, but it melts if it gets too close to the lights, I need to find something safer to use. On...

    Ironwood's Pen Progression

A guy bought a set of wedding pens that I had in stock about 6 months ago, 2 weeks ago he asked me to make another set for him. I finished them yesterday. As usual, C&C and preferences are welcome.

The radar has it sitting a bit higher than I had expected it to be, looks like Weipa and Arukun are copping the rain on the outer edge of it at the moment,

    Post your 150-600 Tamron shots.

I shot this Female Rock Wallaby from my verandah this afternoon, the sun had already gone down behind the hill, so I was battling with low light. These are all handheld. The last pic is a crop from the 2nd one. I think the VC does a good job on this lens.

    Ironwood's Pen Progression

I have been making these Stainless steel Ballpoint pens lately, some of my customers like the look of some of the older styles that I made, but I like the quality of these ones, for a few reasons, though they do cost me a bit more to make. This is a new style, made lighter and thinner to appeal...

    Ironwoods 52 in 2015

Week 9 - Chairs and benches. The treehuggers bench. I am not completely happy with this shot, but I don't have the chance to go back and re-shoot it right now. The highlights are blown-out in the background, it was bright midday sun, and very shaded under the tree.
