Had to go to mall on errand and since I have always liked this fountain I thought I should have a photo of it Would have other versions to pick from but the security people ran me off. Mall policy does not allow taking photos in the mall. So I always follow the rules, except when I don't.

Cherry blossoms basking in the Afternoon sun

As perfect a Spring day as we will ever have and all the fruit tree are now in bloom Cherry blossoms and Apple blossoms too.

Missed out on the flowering of our Big Leaf Magnolia last year. I am going to visit that tree much more often this year to catch a blossom in bloom. Here is a leaf pod just coming out. Will post again when the leaves are full formed and hope for blossoms.

The Redbud is now in bloom here, although I think it to be more a shrub than a flower.

Stopped at an Inn in Ohio and these birds were on the grounds and would allow you to walk up to them and nothing says Spring so well as a new leaf.

Went back but the Lily was gone but i used the nifty fifty to catch the following two photos I swear someday I am going to switch to all prime lenses

@Blacktop; Pulled both photos up on monitor and used the loupe to examine various areas of each photo. the white balance is off on the Nikon photo but that is easily addressed in pp. The sadder truth is that the IPhone photo is sharper and that cannot be easily repaired in pp. Sharpening helped...
