At the entrance to Volant Pa. today I spotted the largest sunflowers that i have seen in quite while. Easily 10 to 12" in diameter.

It is on trips like this I sometimes come across a gem.

Went off Thursday for a little R & R after a particularly bad week. So off to Alpine Lake, West Virginia to recharge the batteries. And stopped at Cooper Rock State Park along the way.
