I do not normally shoot photos of birds. For some reason, when I point a camera at them they flee in abject terror. But this little guy let me get close so here is probably my only 'bird' photo of the year.

@Bill16,Well bags are nice and all. I have a Lowepro backpack, but the cpl filter will do far more for your photography. If I might suggest, next time look into their MCR versions. They are suppose to be better still.

Still playing with my almost macro lens

Have some landscapes in mind and a fall shoot that has been in the back of my mind for several years and, of course, always more flowers. Have got to catch up with @wthorson.

My Sigma 28-90 is not strictly a macro lens but has a macro setting at 90mm. I think it does a credible job although it would not be much use in low light. This flower is about the size of an American Quarter and this one about the size of a dime.
