Thanks for posting, great timing. I was just hacking my way through this type of thing last night on our faithful test cat. He has some really cool eyes, but they always look blah in the photos. I tried the targeted adjustment, but there are many unnoticed colors in the eye and everything else...
Here are two similar shots, both on a dark day. The one on the right is tweaked in LR, but still seems blah. First time posting a pic here, so hope I got the sizes right.
