I think @480sparky nailed it. The flare shows up on the opposite side of the lens center from the light source. So, this kind of flare would always be flipped horiveritcally (<<<<<<new word. I just made it up.)

Moon's evidently do grow on trees. There's one in the middle appears to be going thru a some sort of molt, maybe getting ready to fall off and grow even bigger.

I agree with @rocketman122 and I also agree with J-see. The issue will affect some otherwise acceptable video where there is a momentary flash of flare that can add to the scene. The harsh line would pretty much scrap the clip. but It will be a small percentage who are affected and the worst...
