17th Apr 2016 took Ryan out to lake skinner for a few hours this morning. lots of waxwings about today, i had to shoot the spotted towhee even looking towards the sun, a few orioles too.

at first i thought this was a road runner

i found him again and he had eaten the head of it, i sat for about 10 mins and he never touched it, the sun was cooking my arms hanging out the car window, so i gave up.

he wasnt getting any peace to eat so of he went again.

wasnt long and he had enough of me gawking at him and off he flew. luckily he landed 5 poles further up the road.

on the way out i spotted this osprey having lunch, he must have plucked it out of lake perris a few miles away.

i like the colors on these swallows

lots of Savannah sparrows about, along with red winged blackbirds and western meadowlards

16th Apr 2016 went out to San Jacinto (again), big birds are getting few and far between here too. according to my bird app this is a Spotted Sandpiper, uncommon for our area.

it was testing time at Taekwondo last night, Rebecca wasnt testing, here are a few. Rebecca was judging and helping out.

a couple of stumpy lizzards, both real different coloring? male and female??

15th Apr 2016 took my first walk around at work today in over a week (gout in both feet, gone now) still not much in the bird dept. for some reason i always try to shoot this hummer, @Danno another one? lol i was only out the door and it flew over.
