i got taken on with the RR twice, i thought it was a squirrel the way it was so close to the ground, it wasnt running as normal. Crappy pic as by the time i realized it wasnt a squirrel it was in the bushes.

starting to see lots of rabbits about.

i saw two flashes of lightening from the storm that passed about 20 mile south of us.

11th Apr 2016 another gray day, i think thats the storms cleared though again? i spotted the two little white chicks as i drove up the freeway, went home and got my camera and nothing, but now i know this nest has hatched.

Week 15, Red-tailed Hawk. and a Juvenile (i think)

i went back to a Hawks nest from last year to see if there are any new (this years) chicks in it, didnt see any but the mom/dad was lurking close by, so i will keep checking.
