    Part for Z6III

Perhaps you could PM ckqualls and get him one, while they come back available... Then he could return the favour to you, when he eventually gets them... What you reckon? @ckqualls This was the cheapest I could find... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009717351156.html That's $20 in USD...

    Back Button Focus

I just read that thread, but the number of focus point is not really related to BBF... You can still use which ever focus point you want/need... All BBF does is moving the focus action, from the shutter button, to whichever button you want in the camera... Not really related... So it works in...

    Accessories...

Thanks again BF Hammer... I'm going to check every item you mentioned... I already have spare batteries and monitor glass protector... I did read lots of bad reviews about the silicon skin confirming what you just said above... On a different note, I just got delivered the 24-120 lens... It is...

    Accessories...

I just bought this camera (Z7II), and I'm slowly settling down in the new environment... While I really enjoy the ergonomic part of it, I now would like to improve, if possible with accessories that can make you enjoy this camera even more... Thing is, I have been burned several times before, by...

Can you still buy the D500 brand new or are you going for a SH? I had a quick look here in Aus, and I was able to find only one new for $2400 AUD... Plenty of SH starting around the $700AUD.. It is a big difference...

    Back Button Focus

I know exactly what you mean... If we were still using film, it would cost a fortune... :)

    Back Button Focus

I mostly use the single point focus and so far it seems to be very accurate. I don't clearly get the last part of your sentence: "if you are shooting mirrorless quite a bit of the advantage goes away if you are able to focus at any point in the scene" My understanding is that the main...

    Back Button Focus

I'm using it right now and the only real advantage that I can see is how quickly you can go from single to continuos shot, especially when subjects are moving a bit... I only use in the U3 (wildlife) at the moment.. My thumb already hurts, but I will give it a week to see if it is really that...

I wouldn't worry too much about going mirrorless right now... I did, and the biggest difference I notice so far, is how much easier it is to get dust on the sensor... In my opinion, the important thing, is to be out there, taking pictures and bringing home good memories...

    Back Button Focus

Not sure if this has been asked here before, but I'm just curious on how many people here use the back button focus instead of the conventional way...

    G'day from Australia

Thank you nikonbill, I'm about to retire myself, and to be honest I have been in Sydney only twice in 45 years.. We call it the little London, but being a country boy, I normally tend to avoid large city if I can.. Luckily here in Aus, you can count large city on one hand..

    Dark forum theme

It would be great if the user, could have the choice of a dark theme as well for Nikonites... I was just checking online and there are a few that are very nice and easy on your eyes... https://builtbybit.com/resources/kingz-v3-lite.56636/?ref=discover...

    Different size picture

Yes, I do use the Nikon Z7II, (that's also why I posted in this section)... It was a silly mistake on my part, I never noticed the difference before, but yesterday, I was just testing the new lens and I was doing it while sitting down, so I was moving the camera forward to be able to see the...

    This is so confusing...

I believe you... I just got the "weekly update" from them this morning... I joined that site as well, but I was struggling with the constant nagging request for money, and the terrible forum layout, so I moved on...

    Different size picture

I'm getting old, and yes BF Hammer got it right and made me thinking again... That 25cm difference in the picture is the same gap I had between my face and the monitor when I took the second picture... While using the same point of reference in the actual picture on one side, I was moving the...
