Don Kuykendall_RIP
RIP :(
Yes I know. I have no desire to do that at all. I don't need the Amazon gift card that bad.
I even feel funny, when I change something in a shot that is not original, like the sky, and then I always put a little explanation next to it.
The only thing I don't mind doing and don't feel the need any more to explain is when I do multiple exposures. I try to make my HDR shots as natural as I can, (unless I'm feeling wacky and want to do an over the top HDR shot)
I used to do that a lot more with cameras that just didn't have the DR, like the D3100 or the D300 or even the D7100. I do it a lot less now with the D750.
Not about changing the date so it can quality for something BUT.....
Changing anything else in a photo for artistic reasons is just fine with me unless strictly prohibited by some contest rules. But then I rarely enter any contests. My stuff is just not that good. I also tend to shoot just for me.
Personally when I am out shooting I see something the way I would really like it to be and then shoot it. I then go home and try to get it to look on screen the same way it did in my head. Believe me the way things are in my head are pretty wild at times too.
If I do post a composite as my own work I will have shot all parts of it and put it together myself before my name goes on it. I occasionally put my friend's heads on the wrong bodies and post them but it is always obvious and I never sign those shots.
You are right about the D750 though, it really just does not need that much help in getting a great photo.
