Deezy Western Toads have a nasty toxic substance on their skin that protects them from pretty much everything but Ravens which I think will eat anything! No prince for this one LOL but once it thaws probably end of April, Croaky will go back outside and fend for itself once again.
Nikonpup thats great haha she is a bit Walter Matthau -ish! Impossible to get catch lights because you can't really see her weird light coloured eyes which ends up looking creepy
Piperbarb Thanx she is actually cute and floppy wonderfulness in person but she isn't terribly photogenic. Hubby spent hours brushing her up and making her pretty but you'd never know it
I like my dogs to be larger than my cats but smaller than my horses hehe
I'd never seen a moose in person except in wildlife parks etc until we moved here 4yrs ago. Those that live in town actually see them far more often then us because the moms keep the young ones near people where the predators don't often venture. That little one was quite wet so must have just come up from the river. They are impossibly gangly and huge at the same time with that odd shaped funny face
