Well, the left brain has crunched all the numbers, critically thought and reasoned out logically that my right brain has died.

I tried probably 10 different things today with the camera, all got deleted. There's no more creativity in me. It's all gone, c'est la vie!

This is like three days in a row now, with nothing to write home about. Cabin Fever heading toward the apex! I should spiral out of control soon...

Might have to wait til tomorrow to post today's picture. The wife is on question 7 of 13 on her pathophysiology midterm. She has 15 pages of answers written so far, double sided, single spaced. I'm not going anywhere near her right now, and she's on my computer.

If she has to take another statistics class though, I'm taking the kids and moving out until she's done. :rolleyes:

I fixed the day counter on all my daily posts!

The DW just​ got off the computer 40 minutes ago. 20 pages done now.

This is a grommet. This is an extremely bad photo of a grommet. It looked ok on the camera screen. It's cold out.

When your wife goes to the Dominican Republic to administer much needed health care to the people, some who walked 3 days just to be seen. What does she bring home as a souvenir?

Mine brings home a native sedative. :cool:

I on the other hand don't like the background to the right of the curtain. I would use the curtain as the whole background. Maybe drape the curtain across the top of the stool.

Love those bottles!

Or possibly darken the background (move bottles further away or increase shutter if you are not at max sync

That's the spot I typically do low light shots at, so I didn't even think about the background until I pulled it up on my computer. It's half wall half drapes because I moved the camera so the shadow from the light on the ceiling would be behind them. Plus I had the aperture pretty small from a previous shoot, and I forgot to open it up, which I normally do in that particular spot.

Had to run up to the winery, so there was no time for any do overs. I did manage to get another shot in the same place at the same angle and get it processed before the wife commandeered my computer. Though I did have to steal it from my facebook, as I'm on my laptop now. So, who knows how it'll look. FB definitely shrinks the photos.

Today was a team effort. My son rushed me as soon as I walked in the door, "I know what you can do for your photo of the day!"

Ok, then...

These are the "Ruby" crystals my son and I have been growing. This was the best we could come up with. I either need a new lens, or some extension tubes to do stuff this small. I took the picture, which satisfies this Project 365, but I let him process it in Lightroom, he had lots of fun! Here's what we wound up with.

I don't know what this is... Faceless woman?

It's another souvenir my wife brought home from the Dominican Republic.

I also don't know what's going on with my computer in Lightroom. On one screen it's crystal clear, on the other it's very fuzzy. So I'm not real sure how this is going to look.

Well, looks ok on either screen here. Must be something going on in LR.

Oh, and this is the same curtain/wall background that I've been using a lot. This is how I normally use this background, not like I did a couple days ago. :p

Day 065

These are the main crystals we've been growing for a week or two. The other photos were of the 'other' crystals we needed to grow for other projects. I was also informed these aren't the "Ruby" crystals, but the "Amber" crystals. "Duh Dad!"

Guess that explains why I was having issues in post with those other photos! :frog:
