Migratory ducks, like this handsome Gadwall drake, are back in town as the autumn leaves provide colorful reflections in the water. I took these shots this morning in a little pond near our house. If you have a favorite of the three different backgrounds, lemme' know

I think the first one. I like the color & reflection.

They are all excellent but the colours in the first one gets my vote!

I like the first one the best. Some of that may be because it has a clearer reflection of the duck's head. Another thing in it's favor is that the gold color extends throughout the frame, giving better separation to the subject.

It's a really difficult call, but I think 4 just ahead of 3 and 5. I think the amount of branches in 1 and 2 are slightly distracting.
