There is very little water that isn't covered in ice around here right now, so when this RWBB found an open area in the creek, he took a quick bath. In the last picture I imagine that he is showing me how clean he is.

Mom's head is just visible while Dad sits above, contemplating raising yet another family. As it is each year, eagles are laying eggs in our area despite the cold weather and snow. Good luck, my friends!

Looks like just bare ground and rocks, but this House Finch was finding lots of good stuff to eat. Life lesson for us lowly humans, I think.
