Works great as a 'regular' lens, even though it's a macro. Very fine optics.

Mine is the 18-105.... it is coming off shortly for the Tamron 150-600 as I am heading out to the Wildlife Refuge.... Yesterday I had the Tokina 12-24 on...

So you get the 35 mm on the D7100, that is more and less the same as 50 mm on a FX ?

Sigma 20-40mm f/2.8 on the D7100 in a bag carrying a Sigma 10-20mm and a Nikon 55-200mm.
