Hey Geoffc I saw this lens, for the price, it appears to be pretty awesome. How is the feel, craftsmanship on it? Was thinking of getting it for youth sports football but they play in the evening, lighting may be an issue since this lens is f/5-6.3, was wondering if you shot in low light, dusk, dawn? if so, whats your take? And lets see some sample shots of that bad boy!!!!

Was doing some outdoor portraits as part of a meetup workshop, but the 24-120mm/f4 has been on the D7100 for a few weeks now.

Nikon 18-300. Just replaced my Sigma 18-250 as i found it inconsistent. What a difference. Nikon is quicker to focus, quieter, better colour rendition but more importantly SHARPER.
As they say I'm fair chuffed.

Nothing to post Steve... It was not a macro test, just using that lens as it fit the bill... and the test did not pan out!!
