Day 17
Leaning Trees in Lehi 1-17-2016.jpg
These trees have certainly had a difficult winter. This is a park in Lehi, Utah. I thought that you would like the shot of the mountains in the background also.

Yep, Roy, they are taking the full force of wind, snow, sleet, and a really cold winter. But, that makes for a nice shot don't you think?

Day 18
Carnation Bud with Purple Daisy Reflections in Water Drops 1-18-2016.jpg
Here is another shot for Day 18. I have always wanted to do a shot like this with the reflections of the Flowers in the water drop.

Day 19
Sunrise 1-19-2016.jpg
The sunrise this morning was beautiful. I was on my way to work and there were clouds hanging on the mountains and the sun light was just hitting the top of the mountains. The only problem that I had was to find a place where I could pull over to get a shot, and I only had my little CoolPix camera. It is really much harder to edit shots when you haven't shot in raw. Maybe there will be another nice sunrise tomorrow. I'll be sure to bring my D7100 with me.

Some similar mountain paintings in Georgia O'Keefe's book but I like your image more. Is that an eagle in the distance?

Ron, That's what I thought too. Georgia's book has some paintings that I had never seen. I found that she did a lot of mountain/hill scenes that were rarely published. The Georgia O'Keeffe Book that you sent to me is an invaluable resource for ideas. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!! I think that the bird in the distance is a Raven. A big flock of Raven flew over me as I was taking these shots. The shot that I just posted (1-20-2016) reminds me of Ansel Adams work, but it has some tones of Georgia also.
