Thanks Jen (and for your input Jack) for taking the time to write out all the steps. Your method works for me! I had my son come to my office and figure out the URL operation I posted yesterday and he reposted the photo (page 3) instead of the link. I will be all set for the next challenge. Again, many thanks.......

Bridges between Ontario and Quebec in the Ottawa area:

Hehehe, I recognize that area!!!!! the one with the green I think is the one that my friend and I walked on our way to the Museum of civilization....I'm afraid of heights, had to chant 'don't look down don't look down' the whole time as you could see the river through the wooden slates, lmao

This is the underside of the Bourne Bridge (technically, this is the "approach") as seen from the Cape side of the Cape Cod Canal.

Just giving advance notice . . . my post is going to be late! I'm having trouble finding a bridge in this area (only one good one and used it already!)

Stevecon,
Before I read you caption I was thinking that it looked like the underside of the Bourne. I grew up in Massachusetts. It's been a few years since I've been up to the Cape. I'm a little surprised that I recognized the bridge.

In order to be eligible for the weekly challenge, your photo submission must be taken during the dates posted in this thread.

3/30/11 - 4/6/11

Just a thought:

Most of the rest of the world denotes the calendar in a DD/MM/YYYY fashion. I'd suspect this is the case with the Australian entry, which is dated April 2, 2011.

I'm not entering because this wasn't taken in the right time frame. I took this one last week ;) Just thought i'd share. This is the Ravenel Bridge here in Charleston, SC. I took this photo from a boat in the harbor when we were heading out to visit Ft. Sumter. I was photographing the egret, but got the bridge as well. I have a few photos of this bridge, but don't have time to go downtown and snap more this week :(

Mike, yeah... Had I remember, I would have put a little more effort in to finding a birdge. There are a lot of cool ones here.

The graffiti is very uncharacteristic.

Interesting shot. The graffiti surprises me. It is so uncharastic of the Japanese people. Of course, it's been almost 15 years since I had any real interaction with them.

Actually, I was expecting to see a photo of a Japanese garden with the arched bridge across the koi pond.

This is my first weekly challenge post! Like Chris above, I live in Charleston, so the Ravenel Bridge is the most famous bridge in the city. The above picture was taken on April 2, 2011 at sunrise, right before the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Yah!!! Another Charleston person! Great shot of the Ravenel! I plan to one day walk the bridge and take some photos looking upward where the pylons and the beams meet together. I always look up when we drive under it (when someone else is driving).

I'm a bridge fanatic, I love bridges.
