Vixens other Shots and Random Wanderings

So I'm back from my trip. We were away from home for 5 months and 4 months on the water. Can I just say it was FANTASTIC. I didn't use my camera anywhere near as much as I should have. I used my phone most times due to its being small enough to stick in a pocket. To be honest I find transferring my camera gear from the yacht to land by dinghy a bit of a pain, and its too bulky to carry around.

Anyway.... I am waiting on a new desktop computer so I can PP the shots I did take as I struggle on my underpowered laptop. Even tho the camera did not come out all that often I still took quite a few photos. I also took my drone with varying success :D

OMG... look how long it is since I last dropped in. The whole covid thing knocked me for 6... couldn't go out and take photos. Had to resort to photos at home. Then we moved interstate and I hadn't really picked my camera up for nearly 2 yrs. I'm back looking for birds to photograph.

I discovered a pair of Weebills, Australia's smallest bird, nesting in a tree I walk past every day. It was a great opportunity to get a few photos. I'd never seen one before. They've since had their young fly the nest and now I only see them at distance.
