Beautiful shots of your granddaughter!

Great experiments with your tree shots, Marcel! Your sunset scene is stunning!

Thanks Helene and it is great to know you're back. But… it was sunrise… But they look the same don't they. :)

Just something I played with late this afternoon. A little weird, but I kind of like the look it has. Almost like an open mouth...

Went to watch the white geese but didn't have all my gear. So I used my light 28-200 Tamron that I got for 125$ on eBay. Even with severe cropping, it still gets pictures with the D7000. It's in no way comparable to the 70-200 though, but is it ever lighter to carry in a small bag...

Just one more for today then I turn the computer off… Well, I might try :)

This is a one picture improvisation with piano strings. It's abstract but it's moody.

Hot from the sd card, here comes "city lights" :) Taken from my driver's seat on this rainy night, I had to use 2 different pictures blended in CS 5 to convey the feeling I was after.

Not a great catch today and I'm at my girlfriend's with no photoshop and no Aperture to work with.
The story goes like this: I'm waiting for the customer to show up and I see the pumkins, then his piano action with weirdly glued hammers and the "full Blow" action... I get home too late to be able to do a decent shot at the river so I cheat and underexpose then post process.

Time to hit the sack now!

The eye of the cat done even before I was completely awake. This was done using the 28-80 3.3-5.6 lens. This great lens except for it's plastic construction. It's also a macro kind of lens and can be bought for between 50-100$. Also it covers FX :)

For a $100 lens pretty sharp, to me, at least on the monitor.

I only paid 50 for mine. I think this lens is a sleeper. It gives better results than you'd think. But I think it was a kit lens from the last film days. It's not an AF-S, but the focus is lightning fast.
