Those are great! I like the brilliant colors on the ducks! The flowers are amazing! Great job, as always!

Working at home in the shop so I just went outside for a few minutes and came up with this. It took quite a few since macro work and wind don't mix up so well.

Whoa, how crisp and detailed is this! Awesome Marcel.

Well, I cheated a little (Magic…) :) I used the plastic wrap filter with CS5 and then removed a lot of it with a mask layer. So the (sorry I don't know how you call the things sticking out of the flower in english) things are shiny and it gives them an almost translucent look.

If you want to try it, before you use a filter, just make a copy layer of your basic layer, apply the filter, then add a mask to that layer and you can just paint out the effect of the filter on parts you want to remove.
Enjoy.

Same flower than this afternoon, different twist. It was getting dark, I had to bring the iso up and there was the spider.

What I missed

Because macro work is so so tight, I missed the two spiders face-off. It just happened too fast. Here are 2 pics that show the green one that was hiding behind the flower while I was taking the first shot that I uploaded before. The shots are out of focus since it's not so easy to move a tripod on the grass while trying to keep focus on things.

Marcel, I love the first with just the spider and stamen in focus, very cool. I like them all but that is my favorite. :)

Thank you all for your comments, they are appreciated. I'm having so much fun with this macro lens.

Today is the ant and a flower shot from sunday that I had forgotten about. Both shots were done with the D90 which is a very fine camera. The ant is higher iso since I needed the smaller aperture.

Very nice macro work, Marcel! Definitely looks like you're having fun!

I'm sure having fun Helene, but there are not that many keepers. It's very demanding and nerve recking. The smallest amount of movement and the whole thing goes sour. I tried with the tripod and the little critters will move away. Tried with the monopod and it was a little better but you move a quarter of an inch and you're cooked. But I'm having fun.
