I love the wet window shot . . . very nicely done.

Your shadows shot is interesting. Very artsy . . . I like the different lines. I tried some shadow shots the other day and didn't like them. It seems that you almost need the light source in the picture to recognize that it's a shadow. At least to me. Otherwise it doesn't look like a shadow.

A little upset with the pic that was posted here by bmays, but hey… such is life.
Here is my pic for the day. HDR processed, I finally was able to get a new angle to the piano perspective. Hope you enjoy the view.

Well, from what I have seen with other posts in this particular thread, it is not generally done to post one's picture in someone else's post. If you want to start posting a picture a day, you can start your's and then people will be able to follow your day to day progress.
But maybe I'm wrong… I've been wrong before. But I was just surprised to see that picture and thought it didn't belong here. There is also the photo critic section if you want opinions.

It's quite OK, I noticed that you had just joined and thought you did not know. And maybe you are right. I don't own this site and I can't prevent people from posting, but if
you look at other threads in this section "project 365 & daily photos", you'll notice that there are quite a few of us who use this almost like a blog.
Comments are always welcome, but posting a picture just like that is… well I found it surprising.

So how's this for a welcome to Nikonites… Sorry if it sounded like a rant, I didn't mean to be one. Maybe I should have just replaced "upset" with "surprised".

I found this horse ring that is being rebuilt since it collapsed this winter due to heavy wet snow and wind, and in the field an old electric stove made by GM…

We went for a walk and were trying to get back before the clouds started to pour, but no chance. Good thing I had brought a plastic bag to wrap the cam. We ended up stranded under a tree and the people of the house invited us in and they drove us back to the house. This picture is about 5 minutes efore the rain started:
