i never watch TV Bill, unless its a DVD, i have the Bourne Legacy on now. Are you getting to shoot any pics lately, whats the view like from your apt?
What better way to explore your new neighbourhood and meet your neighbours than by starting a 52 or 365 project.
Glad you are doing ok Bill... Sending you positive thoughts from down under.
Hope to see some pic soon Bill, even if they are from just outside the door. Anxious to see what that new lens will do. I think it could make for some neat street shots. On that full frame it will be wider than my 10-20 and I love shooting that. But I know what you mean about getting out, but I am blessed with a porch and bird feeders. You just need to find a relaxing place to go and soak it up.
I am glad you are almost done with the move.
Sorry I missed your call yesterday Bill, stored your new number on my phone.
Bill,
You have a large beautiful state park just down the road from you.
An equally impressive waterway, with a HUGE national forest on the other side.
If you do take to the field, tuck your pant legs into your socks to keep the ticks out.
Have you ever heard of Geocaching? It is a fun game to play that will take you to interesting places that you might otherwise overlook. To play you need the most basic of GPSr, but these days a smart phone will work.
Good luck avoiding the TV trap. I don't have cable, satellite or even an antenna. It is Netflix or DVDs from the library. NO COMMERCIALS!
It is said that "sitting is the new smoking".
Take care. Get a bicycle.
When is the last time you used your camera Bill? Maybe it would get your mind off a few of your worries.
Just a thought.
