Marcel, I have something for you if you run Safari. I use ExifExt, when the extension installed all I do is right click and select it from the menu and it displays the exif info on the image. Very cool and quick. I got tired of downloading as well. If you run Safari, just select the Safari menu and go to the Extension store so to speak, not sure what the official name is and search for it. Just select Photo category, then at the top of the list sort alphabetically and then scroll down. Its a great utility. There is also Backtrack that allows you to do a reverse search on the image, played around it and works as well if you want to find the source of an image or other sites that display it. I think you can do the same with Google, but never tried it. The Backtrack puts a right click menu option as well and it uses Tiny Eye to reverse track it.

No, I did not develop or work for them, just found them by accident.

Thank you so so much. I had been looking for this for a long time. I guess I just had to be shown where to look.

Thanks again.

Handheld?!! Wowzer! They are sharp and extremely impressive! :D

Thanks. The hardest part at ISO 1000 and 1/1000 sec was getting the focus to lock on the bees. Handheld was easy. I'd say 1 of 3 was decent focus, and this represents about 10% of those. There is also some cropping, to be sure. Bees will only let you get soooooo close. LOL

Helene, we're holding up OK. The business of death is one that I will curse my remaining days and I'll do everything I can not to saddle anyone with the ridiculous expense and incredible headaches that lie in the wake of a passing. Were it not for that we'd be fine. Mom's holding up real well and I'm glad my brother and I can shoulder most of the workload, but it's becoming quite taxing.

Hang in there my friend.
I'm getting ready to go through the same thing my dad is 94 yrs
He's in poor health now.
In April all my brothers and sister took him to pensacola,fl. He loves the beaches.
He wanted to go with just his kids, cause he knows it won't be long before he goes.

I'm so sorry, Jake. At least the burden does not have to be all on your mom. It makes it hard to even start the grieving process with this whole "business" of death. My thoughts are with you.

Jake, my condolences again... We just went through a similar process with the mother in law in Texas... She was 90... I totally understand the "ridiculus expense" thing. I am glad to hear your mom is holding up ok, it helps that she has you guys to lean on. The grieving process must be allowed to happen but it is never easy.

Stay strong and support your mother emotionally!

My condolences Jake. It's never an easy time, but you might as well live it now than later. Time heals but at it's own speed.

Take care of yourself and your family.

We brought Mom back to NJ on Friday for my Dad's burial (tomorrow). We live in the rural NW part of the state, and this week was our local county fair, which feature a hot air balloon launch on weekend evenings. My Mom has always loved them, and when we were growing up in the central part of the state back in the 70's we'd often find them landing in the field across from our house after taking off in the Princeton area on nice weekend mornings and evenings. When wind conditions are just right we have gotten as many as 5 balloons from the fair landing within "old man running distance" of the house, including a few right on the street in front of ours. For Mom's sake I was hoping we might see one or two, so I told her to keep her eyes open. During dinner I see her eyes get big as she's looking over my shoulder and out the window into the field behind our house. Sure enough!! It's been a very hard week for her, but for an hour Friday night all that went away as not only did she get to see one, but she got to help get it put away and stowed into the truck. She even made a friend in the balloonist ... who just happens to make his own balloons by hand (200 hours in the stitching of this one). Life is hard, but life is wonderful.
