My "kit" 24-85VR continues to amaze me everytime I use it. Next to the 50/1.8, I believe this is Nikon's best-bang-for-the-buck.

National City Bank, Cleveland, Ohio (This is an operating bank. The floors and columns are real hand-carved marble. The fixtures are brass.)

There use to be a bank in West Palm Beach like this, well, it didn't have the marble columns. Don't know if it's still there. Nice shots.

Ted your photos are amazingly sharp and beautifully exposes.
I have to ask:
How often (% wise) do you use a tripod/monopod?
Is it prime glass?
Are you the best post processor in the world?
What software do you use?

The dozen or so above were all done with the 16-35/4 lens. All were handheld, though I will use a tripod every opportunity I get. These shots were all walkabout shots.

My post-processing recipe involves 3 or 4 different programs all contributing to each photo. I use Photoshop, Paintshop, and NX2 as a minimum. Each has something different to add.

I also have Lightroom, Photomatix, Portrait Pro, DxO, and others. The final results come from experimenting with all of them.

As for my post processing abilities, there are others on this site that are far better than me. If anything, it may be the effort I have to expend to get a decent shot. For the dozen photos posted, I processed no less than 500 to 600 shots.... with some in multiple versions. I currently have in excess of 60k photos in my files.

Thank you.
