The late snow turned the Rocky River into extremely fast running river.
You could hear the roar from the parking lot.
I've never seen it so powerful.
Places where I sometimes stand were under water.

Columbus Road and the Columbus Road Bridge. Location of the first moveable bridge in Cleveland.

Did you know that the Columbus Road Bridge is the location of the first moveable bridge in Cleveland? Back in the 1800's, the City of Cleveland was really worried about this bridge because it allowed commerce to go to Ohio City, on the other side of the Cuyahoga. Eventually, Cleveland and Ohio City merged and Cleveland became a great metropolis.

In other news..... Columbus Road is still closed due to bridge repairs begun last year.
