Not often we have these overhead and they don't give much warning that they're coming but its deafening after they've passed by! I grabbed camera, got exposure right but didn't get my lens zoomed ugh so second shot is a crop

Yes you sure hear them once they've past by! I had lens at 80mm and had my 70-300mm on my camera so kicking myself for not getting zoomed quick enough to see what they were. Ours is just a little airport so don't usually have anything but small passenger planes and now water bombers which is what I thought I'd find above me

Roy ducks are crazy with Spring fever! Except Spring fever starts in January and goes all year LOL I keep very few males because I don't want my females harmed by how seriously the males take their jobs

Mystery of strange peeps solved
I've been so busy waiting and worrying over my ducks and geese on nests I completely forgot about turkey eggs in incubator

Fresh out of the egg. Tried different lighting but can't move incubator and not very clear plexiglas is awful so lit from the front or front sides was worse

This is a great shot, I don't care if the lighting isn't perfect, the subject is exceptional.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful world. I love catching up on your thread.

Thanx donaldjledet my horses are too darn chubby to win any race LOL but they are well mannered and we enjoy pleasure riding :)

Thanx Marilynne I have one like it without glasses on but still wish I'd had a reflector

wthorson Thanx I really struggle with indoor shots and rarely post any. I'd completely forgot about the turkey eggs in the incubator and thought I was losing my mind this afternoon hearing peeps LOL pretty amazing that it hatched actually. I took a couple shots this evening and will post in a moment
