Rebecca testing for her Level 3 belt last night, an early morning view over Menifee Lake and Golf club, some cactus apples that caught my eye

Pat she passed, will get her level 3 blue belt next Friday, I am more nervous than her when she tests.

Great to have them in a sport that teaches them so much. I remember going through all the testing when my wife was going through it. And the disappointment when she did not pass and then all the hard work and practice to make sure she passed the next time. Good for them.

she gets her forms ok don, its the sparring she doesn't do to well in, now the last few weeks its seems to be coming together, she's not getting kicked around too much by the older kids, she is starting to kick them back, if she stays on her pace and passes testing very two months she will be a black belt by at the end of next year

That was the same with my wife. She was in her 40s when she started. The lower levels she did pretty good but when she got to the black belt levels it go harder for her. She started getting arthritis in her fingers and hitting people with her hands started to hurt. She stopped when she got her first degree belt because once you get to that level you keep it for life. the others you lost if you don't continue. She said she had worked to hard to lose it.
