Thanks Mike Vixen and Marilynne. Seems to be Ok when the subjects are close, struggling with the far away ones, i gota keep on practicing.

DAY 118.

Back to sun and no wind tonight, more practice shots

a Red tail up the tree

a different red tails nest, looks like 1 chick, this is across a field and freeway

i spotted these in the field while shooting the hawks nest, looks like we are feasting on caterpillars/grubs, i like the patriotic colors behind the eye, does this tell the sex????

DAY 119.

Looks like 2 chicks in the Hawks nest, done my best to get closer, i got real close but couldnt see the nest.

looks like take out food tonight bro.....!

the nest is the black dot in the center of the photo

the 2 bees were fighting in the top flower

an aussie butterfly??well its upside down

i was hoping something came along to have this for dinner

Tried my hand at hand held tonight, a room with a view, pity no birds came by!
