imo a robin in a birdbath is one of the happiest birds you could every see. They bring a smile to my face when i see them.

DAY 96

a great days shooting at Lake Hemet, got there a 7:30 and it was 36 deg outside and i am in my shorts and tee shirt dont know if you will see the frost on the log??
got a bit of every thing, will be going back here again, now i know where to go and where the best spots are.

by the time i got into the car and across the camp site the deer were gone, but at least i found the eagles nest, a bit far away and heavily cropped, time for a new lens

not great pics of the eagle, he was just too far away, he did swoop down into the reeds and i didnt see him come up again

Edit, so i think it is the turkey vulture, the condor seens to have the white feathers in a different place

thanks Don, it was hard to take pictures today, i saw 97 deg, usually dosent get this hot till july, hope this is not the start of summer, i need some shots of snow right now.

i dont know if i like this shot to be honest, it looks strange that the wasps arent yellow and black, the brown looks kinds off, but thats the color they were.
