I am also just catching up and really sorry to hear this Pat, thoughts are with you and I know how the big "C" can rock your world - my wife went through it 12yrs ago and is now ok and I had my Prostate removed in Jul this year due to cancer so fully aware of the psychological as well as the physical challenges you are going through.
I am sure she is in the best hands and they will do all they can to get her through it and with your support I am hopeful she will make a full recovery.

Update on Pat's wife

Hi Marilynne, Thank you... she is doing ok. The tumor has now blocked the stomach exit so she can no longer eat or drink... they are trying to shrink with radiation but not enough effect so today she has a procedure to put a stent through the tumor in the hopes that she can begin to eat some again. The radiation appears to have fixed the bile ducts affecting the liver so that is a good thing. I ended up taking her in to ER 3 weeks back... she was not able to keep anything down and it was because the stomach was totally blocked...

Thanks for the update on Pat's wife Marilynne. That is a sad one.
