Leaving Livingston MT, we headed towards the Custer Battlefield at the Little Big Horn... While not of the same level scenic wise, it has a certain solemness to it as you are on the actual battlefield..... begins with sunrise on the road, some pictures around the battlefield and ends with breakfast at a restaurant just outside on native American land...

Badlands National Park, was not even on our list but we saw the signs and so glad that we stopped!!!!

Ok.... 2 things here folks....
Last Vaca Pic... a prairie dog...
And.... due to some lifes issues... have not had much chance to get out and shoot... (Will discuss that later..)
and add to that, I fractured my foot... in reality snapped the end of the bone right off..
Walking is difficult at best and full recovery could take up to 6 weeks.. OUCH!!!

Jeff, Thank You! I am planning on doing a table top book of this trip... I am going to attempt top go through all of this trip with a "critical" and see what I come up with...

Thanks Marilynne, we really do not know... I was walking up a paved, very slight incline and it just snapped... do not know if I just leaned wrong or if I had stressed it prior somehow and it just snapped at that point... Hurt like Heck, grabbed the hood of the truck to keep from dropping to the ground..

Fracturing your foot is definitely not a good thing and I hope the best for a quick recovery. I am a very optimistic person and tend to look at the brighter side of things and look for the rose among the thorns so in this case you will have some extra time to put that vacation photo book together.

Bummer about your foot. Sure is hell getting old. You work all your life and finally get to the point you have the time to enjoy life, and stuff like this happens :hurt::hurt:

This photo is one from a few years back when my wife's mother was alive... she had a 5x7 which disappeared during our move across country a few years back. Her brother had a copy and on vacation I took several shots of it and this one, made her a 5x7 which she has framed for our shelf... Lyn with her mom and siblings..
