Grabbed the Miata sports car (top down of course) and headed about 2 hours away to Charestown NH. Located right off the Connecticut River is the Fort at No. 4.
The Fort at No.4 – Living History Museum
Built in the 1740's during the Indian wars, it was also used as a muster point for Gen. John Stark to muster his men for the Battle of Bennington. It has been rebuilt to serve as a living History Museum. This weekend is their Revolutuionary War Weekend, displays, encampments, crafts of teh period and a mock battle. I will have several posts with some of these pics....
