I saw the flamingos ... there are not native to NH, wondering if these were imported from Florida?? :)
When I pulled over I thought the house across the street would make a nice picture...

Pat, be careful; those flamingos can get very ornery and vicious when they flock together in a pack that size!!

I have no idea marilynne... all I can think of is there are many pictures of pelicans, I always admire the shots and we have none up here...

Maybe just an old age brain fart!! :)

Pat

I called a pelican a penguin once a long, long time ago, now we call them penguins for fun. You should see the looks we get at the beach.

Day 236 - August 24th, 2013.... Part I

Part one indicates there will be a part II :) (or more)

Grabbed the Miata sports car (top down of course) and headed about 2 hours away to Charestown NH. Located right off the Connecticut River is the Fort at No. 4. The Fort at No.4 – Living History Museum

Built in the 1740's during the Indian wars, it was also used as a muster point for Gen. John Stark to muster his men for the Battle of Bennington. It has been rebuilt to serve as a living History Museum. This weekend is their Revolutuionary War Weekend, displays, encampments, crafts of teh period and a mock battle. I will have several posts with some of these pics....

Pat, you are really taking some nice pictures. Some of these almost look 3D.

Jeff, thank you very much... it was so bright and sunny, tough to keep from overexposure... and inside those rooms, some of the shots were 3200-6400 ISO (used no flash)

The D7100 was a joy to work with and I was very pleased with the results... Your comments make it that much sweeter... Thanks again!
