Day 243 - August 31st, 2013 Part 2...

After the playground, my wife and I headed out to the Condo on Hilton Head Island.. We would be staying here for the next 7 days.

Day 244 - September 1st, 2013

The kids came out to the Condo to spend the morning with us....

The resident ducks... there were at least 8 smipping up and down the lagoon.

We brought lunch in and then Scott and Morgan took the little ones home for their naps!

Day 245 - September 2nd, 2013

The kids called and they were taking the grandkids bowling so we drove in to join them.. after we all went to lunch ..

Day 246 - September 3rd, 2013


The grandkids were in day-care so Scott and Morgan came out and we toured the far side of Hilton Head and visited Harbor Town..

Day 247 - September 4th, 2013


I spend most of the day looking at homes and neighborhood communities... here are a few shots from wednesday...

Day 248 - September 5th, 2013
This was our 2nd day of home viewing.....

Stopped by a wildlife refuge on the way in to Savannah...

Day 249 - September 6th, 2013

We snuck in early for a couple more houses... also stopped at the refuge with a longer lens... Water level was off and birds were not there... then we had a family get to-gether at Morgan's parents house in Savannah.





A weathered bridge.... and a bridge ovet the intercoastal waterful at Hilton Head




Did get these birds in a tree... and a shot off of the waterway south side Isle of Hope

A long table for the family get-together... and after all had eaten....

Day 250 - September 7th, 2013..

Saturday, my last full day of Vacation... I headed to the wildlife preserve for a couple bird picks... then we checked out of the Condo and headed in to Pooler to see 2 houses... Checked into a Savannah hotel and spent the day with the kids...

Day 251 - September 8th, 2013..

This was a travel day... We checked out of the hotel around 6:30am (savannah) and drove down to Jacksonville for our 10:40 flight. Upon arrival home in Manchester, I grabbed the car and we drove home... after a short rest, my wife went and picked up the 3 dogs... all back to Normal!

Day 252 - September 9th, 2013..

Ok, first day back to work... it went surprisingly well after being away for 10 days.

Fixture plate on the CMM Machine and a portable plate on the surface plate

Day 254 - September 11th, 2013..

It is a day of remembrance here is the USA... never forgetting those who lost their lives that day and the 1st Responders who risked (and many lost) theirs trying to save others... Their sacrifice is not forgotten....

Day 255 - September 12th, 2013.. Hey, only 110 more days to go!!
