Day 256 - September 13th, 2013 (Yes, Friday the 13th!!)
Storms all last night and most of the day... snagged a couple shots...
These first once were all with the Sigma 105mm macro...
I was working on a report, gathering data for a customer, decided to shoot it.
It was quiet on my walkaround the plant, shot the packaging station for a product line.
Inserts that are molded into several parts (3mm thread) and a part we just started molding today.
These were all shot with the 55-300mm Nikon zoom...
Fishing on Horseshoe Pond... a small waterfall at the local landscape firm..
Flower outside of work (shot out my truck window)

Thanks Jeff, I did too... and I was surprised! That was my 55-300 and I was in my truck, shooting through the open window. (Not moving). It came out so much better than I anticipated when I shot it...

Day 257 - September 14th, 2013
Busy day today.... 2 websites to update, daily pics (done) a photo shoot later, prep of some guns for sale, some other items for sale/giveaway also. Need to process my "weathered" pics too and also have to work on some tax files due Oct 1st.
Took some shots before breakfast (we went out to a diner in down) while having coffee on the deck..
These were all taken with the D5100 and Nikon 55-300 zoom.
Wildflowers in the woods behind the yard.... and a flower on the deck...
Two shots of the leaves turning already... Reds & Yellows! I think these are starting due to
the cold spell we had a week or 2 back.
The 2 little guys had haircuts yesterday, Herbie the Eskimo goes next Friday.

Day 258 - September 15th, 2013
Busy day again... plenty of stuff to do here at home so we went to breakfast and I shot a few shots then....
Construction on a new dam on the Nashua River... intent is to help prevent future flooding upstream
Nancy's Diner, downtown Nashua, nice little breakfast place open about 6 weeks....
saw another construction area behind the skate board park. Sot this on the way home...
and a flower bucket out in our front yard...
have a great day and good luck shooting!

Today, One Lens... took my D7100 and the 50mm 1.8 prime. All pictures are with this combo...
1st pair on my way to work at 5:45am, still dark.. a home in my neighborhood and a commercial building in Merrimack NH.
Shot in the Lab and on the table at one of the mold presses.. (similar shot to yesterdays WA)
2 shots out on the open floor....
2 flowers at Greeley Park, Nashua NH
Grooming Greeley Park... and the small square in my home town of Hudson (both of these
were shot out the drivers window...)

Today, Again, One Lens... took my D7100 and the 35mm 1.8 prime. All pictures are with this combo...
1st pair on my way to work at 5:55am, still dark.. These are the same shots as yesterday (but that was a 50mm) a home in my neighborhood and a commercial building in Merrimack NH.
Two shots in the plant, the first is similar to a shot yesterday with the 50mm, and the 2nd is gages on our surface plate.
Two shots at Horseshoe Pond....
These 2 are the Souhegan River
The last 2, a 3shot HDR to show the detail in the firehouse and berries on a bush!
Hope you enjoy, all taken with the 35mm... Tomorrow, I think I will take the D5100 and the 55-300...

This is my 4 day of shooting with a single lens... Today, mounted my 55-300 on my D5100...
Oh yes, the moon was out this morning, low in the west... and the neighborhood house..
Same commercial shot as the last 2 days, just a different lens and gage shot at work
Work shot and "reflections" of Horseshoe Pond
Wild Berries at Horeshoe and domestic tomato at Greeley...
Greeley bench and Bee!
Hope you all enjoy... Tomorrow is the last work day so I finish the week with a single lens,

How are you enjoying just getting to use one lens per day? Yesterday I went out with only my 40mm, I had not had it out of the bag in a while since I got my 18-105 so it needed a little exercise.

Don, I am finding it challenging in a good way.. I also have the 18-105 and it has become my everyday lens and I can cover most normal shooting desires doing a deal with it. As I pull out another lens and "force" myself to shoot everything that day, it causes me took and plan more which is good for me. I believe it is helpful also for me to learn what I can and cannot do with each lens.. .. it forces me out of my comfort zone!!
I think it helps me to learn, like challenge or any other such project.

Day 263 - September 20th, 2013
Last day of my 5 days, using a different lense each day... Challenging but I learned alot about "seeing" and the capability of each lens...
Here are todays....
These 2, same as the other days, night on the way to work...
The moon over Harris Pond Commercial Bldg and the sunset with fog....
A couple works shots.. measuring box on Optical Comparator and a caliper shot on the counter
Greeley park bldg at break and a construction zone on my way home...
That was fun and I learned alot... Thanks for reading and looking...

Day 264 - September 21st, 2013
Have a bunch of stuff to do today so.... when we went to the diner for breakfast, I took the 7100 with 18-105, figuring to grab some shots of a new construction site.... When I left, it was foggy and visibility was not that great....
Fog - down my street and across a farm field....
This yard was full of LARGE pumpkins....
While waiting for my order... (Blueberry Pancakes)
This car pulled in while eating.. took these when I was leaving...
Stopped to shoot the weathered tree trunk... saw this stone cellar.....
Enjoy the day and the shooting....
