Excellent shots Pat! Great to see the progression of your work!

Thank you Rick... I can safely say (with all honesty) that I would not be where I am today without the help, guidance and encouragement of you and others here at Nikonites. I greatly appreciate this site and its many participants! Thank you all for helping me and others grow in this great hobby.

Day 232 - August 20th, 2013....

made it through another day... :)

Sunrise this morning hazy fog in the air..... also the fog over Horseshoe Pond

Final inspection on a new medical part... the carrier for the same part, you load two of these by hand
into the mold (each holds a precision metal insert) and then mold over the insert.

Fence over at Greeley park... Gardens where people lease plots and plant their own veggies, flowers etc..

Day 234 - August 22nd, 2013....

Busy work day ... (whole week actually!) I had very limited time to shoot, no break to head out for a half hour as I had meetings at 10, 11, 11:30 and 2:00. Wow!! Lots of customer stuff and a Quarterly management review (which I had to conduct)

Anyway, I did the best I could....

Sunrise on the way in to work.... I knew it was gonna be hectic so I grabbed a wide shot on the plant floor
(all D7100 & 18-105 except for the 3rd pic, a macro with the 105mm Sigma macro.)

DSC_2933.jpg DSC_2934.jpg

Moving leftover parts in my office, threw a few on a paper and a pen and shot a macro...
Also a ball game at Greeley Park on the way home... (Looked like maybe a company outing..)

I saw the flamingos ... there are not native to NH, wondering if these were imported from Florida?? :)
When I pulled over I thought the house across the street would make a nice picture...

Nice shots Pat.

The sign reads
Flamingo Fundraiser. Wonder if they're raising money for flamingos or something else.

Great capture Pat!

Actually this species is native to Massachusetts. It was first seen in 1957 on the property of Don Featherstone. You usually don't see them in flocks this large. Again great capture!

I saw that too, no one out there to ask and I was parked half in the street so I could not hang around long :)

I saw them the other day on the way in, (other side of street and down a block or 2) and I was gonna stop on the way home and grab a shot.. They were gone.. I am gonna watch for them tomorrow and maybe find out what the story is...

people pay to have these put in your friends yard. The money then goes to a local non profit that runs the event.

Right you are Alan... I just looked it up via the website on the paper... Here is the link for this fundraiser for the local Rotary club...

Flamingo Fundraiser | Souhegan Valley Rotary Club!

That explains why they moved up the street!! :) Wonder where I will find them tomorrow....

There were rumors that I was involved in doing something like that to a neighbor but all the evidence was hearsay and I deny everything and demand proof :devilish:
