All were with my Sigma 105 Macro... I was actually quite pleased for the captures at a 15 minute break..

Have fun shooting!

Nice shots Pat. I'm glad you seem to be liking this lens.

Thanks Marcel! It is funny too, I wanted to try it but honestly believed I would have more use for the ultra wide.. (I still have lots of use for it too!)
I have been enjoying this immensely and you can find "subjects" almost anywhere... (something not as easily done with the UW).

I have some good projects planned for the UW but right now am carrying the Sigma daily along with my 18-105 and enjoying the learning and the results. It is probably my best purchase to date and and a real bargain when measured by the enjoyment it has given me!

Thanks everyone... It was funny... I was in this goat path in a field... (in my truck). The window was open and I was hearing the bird, but not knowing where it was. Then I realized, he was straight out my window!!! Grabbed the camera and snagged the shot just before he flew off. (Camera was on seat next to me)

Day 228 - August 16th, 2013.... PART 2

We grabbed the motorcycles and headed over to the local town celebration, "Hudson Olde Home Days".. Guess what I did?? Yep, took pictures!
Here is a sampling....

The town police have an excellent community outreach booth each year. Have all kinds of vehicles (including SWAT) that the kids can sit in etc. They have displays, info and spend time talking to the residents. 2nd shot is just down a row of tents.

Today we hopped on the motorcycles (me on the Ural, my wife on the Spyder) headed up to Manchester for the 13th Annual "Run for the Shelter". This is a fundraiser put on by my Rolling THunder Chapter to benefit Liberty House, a transitional housing facility for Homeless Veterans.

good pictures for a great cause Pat, how does the Ural run, I bet not a comfy as the goldwing;)

Thank you Roy! The Ural is fun, runs decent, old school technology, just about like you would expect that is basically unchanged since the 40's and 50's!! Mine was built in 2005 so it has front disc brakes, electric start and a 750cc motor instead of teh previous 650cc. Not as comfy as the Wing, Unless you are in the sidecar! :)

Day 230 - August 18th, 2013....

Took a little drive today looking for flocks of geese (that have been around and seen as recent as yesterday) Had no luck, but did get some shots..

I got to the end of the road, no geese. Turned around at Mel's which is a local fun park.
Miniature golf... and the fountain...
