Day 168 - June 17th, 2013.....

Some of you may remember last week I showed an insert that we were going to mold over..

DSC_0353.jpg

Here is a part that has been overmolded... we have to cut 4 per hundred to make sure
that the fins are not breaking (deflection is ok). Along side is another product part.

Here is an 8 frame panorama down at Horseshoe Pond...

The following shots are at the Souhegan River in Merrimack

While I was there shooting, a Heron flew right up onto the rock.
I was a ways back with the 105mm so you can see him but not up close
and personal! :)

I would have to agree, except I think the stacks of chairs wold have been cool if the labels were removed. Makes one really think about normal things we walk by.

Kevin, thanks for your thoughts... I would agree that the absence of labels would make it a "cleaner". On the other hand, it actually empahasizes my intent of stacks of chairs for sale! :) (IMO) It is so nice that everyone's view of a photo is different. I like hearing comments like this that indicate how others actually view the image and the fact that we can discuss that...

I tried to do this a few months back. Yours came out much better.

Thank you Marilynne! It was 5:45 am and I saw the chairs as a drove past the hardware... I saw the image in my mind, colors & stacks so at the next intersection, flipped a u-turn, went back and captured it. Took 2 shots through the open car window then u-turned again and went on to work. :)

We were on our bikes and the traffic on US 1 was pretty heavy, also, there were cars parked curbside. Couldn't get a good angle from the sidewalk.

That makes a big difference... At the time I went by, no traffic and only one car in the lot (the owner) That goes a long ways towards creating a clean full frame shot. I have had many like you, I see the shot in my mind but cannot get a good image for all the other "stuff" :)

That's what I like about photography, we all see things differently. I see you point too. Guess I need t take my camera to the store with me to see what I can find.

Day 173 - June 22nd, 2013

Today, we (Rolling Thunder) dedicated a POW/MIA Chair at Holman Stadium in Nashua. Members from MA & NH attended. This chair is in remembrance of those who never returned home after all wars. It will remain empty for eternity... All of todays shots are of that event.

Staging location, Joe the president of NH1, Steve, the Quartermaster, showing our vests..

DSC_0648.jpg DSC_0651.jpg

The main group coming into the staging area... Led by road caotain (TooTall) and Doc who is currently our Laision to Rolling Thunder National. (I will let you guess who is TooTall) :)

DSC_0655.jpg DSC_0658.jpg

My Ural and "Harley", the Riding Dog

DSC_0662.jpg DSC_0667.jpg

The full group that road today... this was just before we took the field and road around the warning track around the entire field. And of course, the plaque that is with the Chair.

Joe D, President of MA1 at the Chair... and the NH State VFW Vice Commander

DSC_0708.jpg DSC_0728.jpg

Joe, president NH1.... and the Mayor of Nashua (who cut the ribbon)

DSC_0738.jpg DSC_0744.jpg

It was a great day.... I am a former President of this chapter and also was a Director for National for 6 years.
Needless to say, I am proud of these guys! and girls!
