The pond shot is great. HDR is a strange bird. For MY taste I would have backed of just a tiny tiny bit more, but this is still working for me. If I had room I put it up on my wall just as it is.
Keep up the good work and don't let my HDR comments scare you I'm very picky about HDR. There is no right or wrong way to do it, it how you intrepid it that counts. Keep em coming!

Thanks for all the comments... I appreciate the positives and the critiques... Those also help me to to look at things with another slant which is a good thing. In this case, you are probably right for your taste and my normal... It was just something when I got here screamed "painting" that I liked for this shot... I always look at critiques as "opportunities" for improvement!

Wow, this is late for me to be posting... then it has been a busy day too!
These are the out-takes from my contest entries...
The first was a test shot to see if I could capture the reflected lights &
the 2nd was from one of many crops of the early ones and I thought that
would make a good one..
This last, well I was shooting various decorations on the snack bar display,
fireplace etc. I liked the affect of the 3 mice with the cotten as it looked
like snow. I then clear all objects and raised the back edge of cotten as a
backdrop...
Hope everyone who is waiting on Santa has been good &
has their shopping done!!eaceful:

Here are some shots this morning from our Christmas
Kids and Grandkids are all out of state so it was just the
2 of us and the 3 dogs. They wanted to be a part of the
activities... and got some nice doggy candy canes!

Back to work today, only good thing is it's a 3 day work week!
These 2 were both taken on a loop around Horseshoe Pond in Merrimack, NH

Work is really slow, hence.. BORING! We are in the middle of a pretty good snow storm so I hope to head out at lunch and snag a few shots...

So where's the snow??? I don't see much. We're getting about 20 inches today as I'm typing this. Thank goodness for snowblowers.

We only got about 6 - 8 inches here... It was terribly grey here today, I snapped some at lunch that are still in the camera.. ( for a little bit more) Northern part of the state got near 14.

This one was out my patio door at 5:45am

What an imagination! Where I'm from we call that planet in the upper left sensor dust. LOL
Your day 360 pic I was also taking that exact same picture on Christmas night I didn't know it was Saturn but it sure was nice and hard to get the planet and the moon to show nicely haha I saw it just up over my barn but couldn't get the planet to show when the barn roof was also in the pic so just went for the close up like you Yours turned out very nice!
