Thank you Marcel, your comments are appreciated. I drove around a bit to get a spot where I could get a good shot... I saw the reddish glare off the rail and street and snapped it.. good timing I think, and luck!!!

Day 349 - 12/14/2012
The year is winding down folks... Congrats to those who have done this all year... I have only been a couple months but it has been fun and it gets me out shooting "something" almost every day. Anyway, to the photo's...

Lets start with a pet, our Cockatiel. That is NOT a reflection..
Shot out my office door into the QC Lab....
Another Industrial with "color". (Should have put it out with the others yesterday.
Mold on a tree stump (during my lunch break)

This will be all Industrial Day...
1st up, trying to make something of a photo out of Racks in the warehouse...
The are 2 Very large Injection Molding tools.. They both run in the 800 Ton Press
You can see the step stool and mop bucket in the 1st shot to get a perspective of the size.

Day 351 - 12/16/2012...
Ok, lets get off the industrial for a bit... First up is a deck rail! Sounds exciting huh?? I looked out the window and saw the angle shadows from the rail so went out and snapped a couple shots.. Here is 2, from opposite directions!
I need to take a bunch of figurine shots... This was a test shot..
I need to get a backdrop (tested with white rug) and ran a couple
desk lamps.. have a a little shadowing still but with just house "stuff"
I am ok with it... (and for what I am doing it for...)
lastly... Have a couple of beach shots that I felt had a little
impact. No, they are not NH, they were taken in Florida.
Hope some are enjoyed... I have been busy... Did 150 shots of the
work xmas party and 120 were "keepers"! I will put a couple of those
up tomorrow.

They did! It is a very nice event. Offsite at a nice hotel, shut down for 3 hours and get paid.. catered meal.. some nice door prizes (40" HD TV, Kindle Fires, Xbox etc) and a cash bonus for Xmas..
They do it right for everyone...

Sort of a Hodge-Podge today..
1st... just an Industrial shot, part on my desk/keyboard
At my lunch break, drove down to Horseshoe Pond. Missed a couple
shots (not a long enough lens) but did get this
Then, in the evening I had some stale bread and went out on the
deck to throw it out back fro the critters & there was a very pretty moon.
I am going back to Horseshoe later today and see if I can catch
those 2 shots I missed yesterday!

Day 356 - 12/21/2012
I went back to Horseshoe Pond to try and get those 2 shots I missed the other day... Nope, not happening! It was cold and damp after all morning rain and windy to boot. The baby ducks were not out (at least I could not find them via public access) and the beautiful Husky I saw sitting in the front yard was not out... Oh well, does not surprise me...
Trip was not wasted though, I did manage to get a few shots....
Off to the side of where I saw the ducks, I spotted the work of a beaver clan.
Driving past where the husy was, I saw this house across the pond.
I liked the colors, reflection of house and watercraft and the ripples
from the wind....
I had taken some shots of some squirrals earlier but they were
throw aways, too buried behind the vegatation.. While out of my
truck shooting the house above, these guy ran up a tree.. He is partly
covered by a branch but it is out of focus enough to still see the little
guy perched on the branch.

1st is injection molding press station with parts..
2nd is a Sonic Press used to install brass threaded inserts
into plastic parts (see defib case at bottom)
Robot removing part from 500 Ton
molding press.
Thats it for today folks... going to work on a couple
for tomorrow now.. Have a great day!

Pat, I was looking at these photos again and think that last one could have benefited from some fill flash on the left hand side, just a thought. LOL
