Yellow Rumped Warbler

# 2 This is a Yellow Throated Warbler in our pine trees. Later he flew up and sat beside Andy on our deck.

# 3 This is a Prothonotary Warbler taken at Benjy Kinman WMA/ Lake. They love this lake and this one was sitting on a stump beside our boat almost an arms reach from Andy.

# 4 This is a little Pine Warbler who occasionally comes to our bird feeder.

# 5 This is a female Summer Tanager she visited us this spring for a while until she figured out all the boys were at the other end of the street. The others were taken at the gun range in Borden IN.

This is a male Red Headed Woodpecker who was really enjoying the Mulberry tree that grew up in our yard. A lot of the birds really love it when the berries are ripe.

This is a male Black Throated Green Warbler that visited us this spring and a female that flew up to me at Wendell Moore Park.

You have cool life birds. Mine seem so ordinary except for the Burrowing Owl that I have only seen one time.

Ruby Throated Hummingbird

The Bobolink visits for their breeding season and leave as soon as the babies are able to take care of themselves. They are pretty easy to get a picture of during the mating part of the season, but after that it's quite a bit harder.

We do have a lot of Eastern Bluebirds. The second photo is a nest in one of the nesting boxes Andy built for the ones in our yard.

I think this is a Clapper Rail. The first photo it has a carpet beetle hanging on to its face.

They don't usually show up here but we think this one was blown off course from the Hurricane. It stayed for a few weeks.

This is a Warbling Vireo. Apparently, they are common in this area too.

These are male and female Dickcissel's. Out on Bennett Lane, La Grange, KY

This is a Golden Winged Warbler passing through during the Spring migration.

This is a Northern Bobwhite.

We have about 4 of these in our neighborhood. But one of the neighbors has a cat that has started hunting in their nesting area so they will probably abandon the area soon.
