I recognize the topography, Kim. It's either Kelowna or Penticton. :) I go there every summer.

It is actually Lake Windermere in Invermere. I was in a rush to post this today, we have house guests with their 3 teenage sons, and I thought I might miss posting todays pic. I have some others that I am going to put in the gallery.

I really like your Day 10 shot. Shows some nice creativity in post processing and good composition in the shot. Also nice bokeh. Your Day 9 shot is nice as well. . . the water seems a tad overexposed, but other than that, it's very nice.

Ok, Helene, I tweeked the Day 9 photo a bit, what do you think? I was last in line on an 8 hour quad ride in the mountains, and I took the photo quickly, so I wouldn't be left behind for the bears. lol
Thanks for the Day 10 encouragement!! :)

The exposure on this one is much better and so is the sharpness. I thought the previous one was a little blurred.

Nice shot, Kim, but what it's missing is perspective. In other words........are the goats climbing up a hill, or is the picture crooked? See what I mean? Something in the background that would put the shot into perspective would tell the viewer what they're looking at. I hope this makes sense to you. :)

I thought of that yesterday when I posted this, but wanted a closer pic of the baby goat so everyone could see her. I think this is better. Good advice! Thanks :)

Kim, your second redo of the waterfall is much better. You could brighten parts of it a little in post processing.

I love the shot of the two goats. It would have been nice to have a tree or a vertical cliff in the back or foreground on the first shot; however, with wildlife, we sometimes have to take what we can get. You can tell by the body and leg positions that they're going uphill. Of the two goat shots, I definitely like the first one better. I would try cropping it in even closer.

The tower shot is a nice composition and concept, but a little underexposed. You might try to brighten it in PP.

Keep it up, Kim! Doing great!

Yes, I liked the first one best too, but figured the second on gave more perspective, as suggested by fotojack, ( not photojack lol ) I like the closer subject matter of the baby goat. It is not often one gets a chance to see a Mountain Goat, let alone one with her baby, so thats why I like the first post :) I love the feedback!!! We all have a different idea of what we like to see and why, and I think thats great! Keep the feedback coming!!!
