If I don't show up as liking one of your posts, it's because I tried to like it twice.:wink-new:

Again, Rick's talent shines through! I can never get enough of Rick's people shots. Awesome! Ever notice the cropping? Spot on, right?!?! The cropping makes the whole shot just jump out at ya! I think the framing has something to do with the whole effect, too. :)

Nice to see you get published, Rick. It was just a matter of time until someone recognized your talent. I KNEW it would happen! I just knew it! :)

Thank you both Jack and Misti! I'm having a ball participate in the project 365 and see my work growing and improving as well as all of us who have been posting continuously working this project. What a great idea and learning experience. Thanks again :)

Eye-level

Rick do you always shoot at eye-level or do you shoot for the type of face? You know angled shots for the double chinned people, camera pointed up to make the jaw large, nose short, forehead small, neck long, camera pointed down to make forehead large, nose long, chin small...women with flat, front lighting?

Since the people are moving 90% of the time I don't have the luxury to change angles a lot. Typically they are moving either right towards me or in front of me across my field of view. So I have two different spots I use that give me two different angles. One let's me shoot looking slightly down which is complementary for things like double chins :) and the other is eye level.
