Nice website Rick. I love it that you've kept it to B&W for this. Makes it more historic.
Nice project to keep you going for years to come.

Day 31
1/31/2012 (made it through the first month!!!)

Quick pics today on a ongoing string of errands and work throughout the day.

First was out and about and saw this sign on a door. Couldn't resist -- Dr. Man Tran ..... Parking in the Rear (hehehehehe)

Next went over to local Goodwill Store looking for "vintage" furniture. Saw this interesting man and the very tough looking dude behind him. Image isn't great though (dark in store so high ISO and I hear "don't take pictures in here... don't shoot those people... we have to go" again hehehehehe me not shoot random pics of people oh please ;)

Decided to try a hybrid approach. Combine the hike and street photos and see what I can come up with.

#1 Man and best friend just heading up the hill

#2 Trail Babies

#3 This is lavish living Hollywood Hills style. This is the roof of a single family home with most likely no more than 2 parents and 1 or 2 kids. Note the ininfinity pool in the back :)

I really like your street photos Rick. Just one thing is that I find they take a bit of time to load up and show up on my computer. Looking at your exif files, I noticed that you keep them at 300 dpi resolution. The files would be a lot smaller if you could reduce them to 72 dpi which is perfect for screen resolution. Just my 2 cents. Keep at it, you are getting nice persons in your project.

Rick you definitely have a knack for SP. These are great shots, and exactly what SP is all about. One thing, if I may.......don't over sharpen. It's noticeable. :)

Also...did you go to the Street Photography on Facebook like I suggested? I'm positive you'd like it. :)

Your right I love the FB SP pages. Louise Fryer is simply awesome. I will soften up on the PP and sharpening. ;) Looking to continue my SP images. I'm off to Chicago for 3 days so I'll have some new stuff from there over the next few days --- I hear it's a bit colder than SoCal :) might have to pack a coat
