I really like #281 on several levels first there is the very strong verticals of the windows and bricks counteracting the diagonals which is a very very strong compositional technique...the bricks add tons of texture to the snap...which contrasts nicely with the glass...the reflections on the glass are superbly exposed with great complementary colors blue and orange...nice vegetation to hold up the diagonal wall...

Very intellectual and cerebal shot Helene...pretty nice...you thought about that one didn't you? :)

This is the time of year Helene does a lot of wedding shoots, grads, stuff like that. She'll be back soon. :) We email each other regularly.

Hi, all! Thanks for not giving up on me. it has been pretty hectic and I apologize for getting behind on the challenges and everything else.
I have also learned quite a bit these last few days.

1. getting your photos ready for an exhibition is a lot of work.

2. writing feature stories with photos is extremely time-consuming.

3. The next time anyone invites me to be on a "board of directors", I will run the other way.
