Heart attack on a plate or Heaven on earth!
Either way, I'm IN!!! :)
I remember the fresh White Castles and a big old Orange Julius with a great deal of fondness!

I remember the White Castle. 5 cent burgers. You could take a gal out for burgers and a drive-in real cheap. Even gas was 25 cents / gallon.

Yeah, I remember those, too, Mike. I used to live in Brooklyn, N.Y. at the time, and we'd go down to the local White Castle on Atlantic Avenue and just stuff ourselves! Cheap burgers and they were so good! Cheap gas, too, as I remember.

Sometimes I wish I could step in a time machine and live a few days in the world that you all knew then. My generation knows of no such thing as these things you mention. What? .25 cent gas?? When I first started driving I can recall gas being .75 cents, but that's about the cheapest I can recall. I wold have loved to wear a puddle shirt with the black and white shoes. To be back in the days when guys were real gentleman. That being said, I do have a wonderful husband who I wouldn't trade for anyone in the world. Things in time has certainly changed though.
