"Eleanor"

She is four months old and 13 inches long. Full grown she will double her size and come in about 24 inches. Shot with terrarium lighting only which is two different UV fluorescent bulbs.

Didn't do a thing on the lighting. She was bathing under the heat lamp, so she was not moving much at all. Set the tripod up opened the doors to the terrarium and fired away with different settings. Would have played around a little more but it was getting late, and it was a long day as it was so I went for an easy shot.

No not all year, just using last weeks weekly challenge to get me through the winter until I can get back outside again. I came up with a lot of ideas I hate to waste. The small town I live in is surrounded by cornfields so it does not leave me much to shoot but flat lands. I'll have to do a shot one cold clear day for you. The nearest large town(s) are about 30 minutes away, and you can bet I take my camera with me on those road trips which lately have been to the pet shop for Lizard food.
