Thanks, Jen! I'm a retired teacher and principal, so it's kind of fun for me to go back in the classroom and just work with the kids instead of putting up with the typical politics.

I've known this vet for almost 20 years. She is really the Dr. Doolittle of the area . . . ALWAYS on call and takes care of abandoned and unwanted animals. I'm taking photos of her clients for a book with proceeds going to her abandoned pet/spay/neuter fund.

This was not intended to be my best work . . . I was deliberately really pushing the lens and camera to its limits, so I shot this at 10:00 pm with only the existing barn lights: handheld, iso 3200, f/1.4 at 1/20 sec. Yes, I'm still dinking around with the 24mm lens. My horse was moving which accounts for the blur. There was some noise which was taken out with Define 2.0, and it's BW because there were just too many colors that were distracting.

Aside from the understandable blur, this is a pretty cool shot, being as it's hand held. Nice work, Helene. :) You always impress the hell out of me! :)

Helene, I am not sure about posting pictures again.... but then again you can not keep a good man down as they say. I am sure I can come up with something wait for easter is all I have to say.

It was supposed to go back this week and I got an extension. The people at customer service said they have the same problem when they rent their stuff . . . have a hard time letting it go back.

I will buy one right after I rob the bank.LOL

I've started a lens fund . . . so yes, it's at the top of my list! It is a really nice, nice lens!
