I agree with Rick, maybe its too early for my eyes to be looking at that. Did you zoom in or out while clicking? It is a very pretty horse.

LOL I have to send this lens back next week and I want to make sure it does EVERYHING I want before and if I spend this kind of money.

It was not an easy job getting Juliette to do her "moves" with one hand waving the lunge whip and shooting a camera with the other. Plus, she has just started shedding her winter coat and looks like crap, so I partially used the blur to cover up the blotches of hair that did not come out when I brushed her.

Sorry if I made anybody dizzy! LOL

Yes, playing with "toys" . . . sometimes I want to go back to the days when our "toys" cost only $5 !

"Smoking Embers"

We had a 10,000 acre forest fire not far from the horse race track(home of the All american Futurity) that was fanned by 40-60 mph winds. Lots of evacuations. Fortunately only 5 homes burned --it could have been the whole town of Ruidoso Downs (25 miles from me).

Was out in the area looking at the damage and came across firefighters putting out hotspots.

Helene....so close to that fire! wow! 25 miles is not that far, really, from where you live. Great shot of the firefighter. Kind of tells the whole sad story, doesn't it.

Thanks, all! Everybody here is so grateful to the firefighters. They managed to get it contained before the wind picked up today.

Are you kidding me? :rolleyes: Seems everyone has spring. Closest thing I have are my Peonies and they are only up a 1/4 inch. Well I take that back. I did Storm chase this week and I might get a chance Sat or Sun before I go to work. So I guess it's coming. Quit teasing me and send some of that good stuff up to me up north. LOL

How nice that you have peonies, Rick . . . I used to have some until my border collie, Meggie, who has time-lapse vision, spotted them growing and dug them up. Oh, well. At least I have apple blossoms!

I'll trade you some blooms for a good rain shower! ;)
